In a statement, State Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary expressed concern, stating that during the recent Ram Puja ceremony in Ayodhya, it appeared as though Prime Minister Modi was being venerated rather than Lord Ram.
Chaudhary criticized what he perceived as an attempt to politicize the sacred event, emphasizing the need to maintain the religious sanctity of such ceremonies.
The comments come in the wake of the ongoing preparations for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in January next year, where the idol will be placed in the newly constructed Ram temple.
